But that is exactly what Nikki Haley did after her pathetic third place finish in Iowa. Haley declared that the GOP primary was now officially a "two person race," but she doesn't seem to realize that she doesn't appear to be one of those two people. Well, folks, the Iowa caucuses were of course on Monday. They're now squarely in the rear view mirror. Donald Trump won, and Nikki Haley, for some reason, even though she didn't win, even though she didn't come in second, declared victory in a move that left a lot of people on both the left and the right, scratching their heads wondering, what the hell are you talking about? You underperformed. I mean, listen, after the Iowa caucuses, of course, Vikk Ram Swami dropped out. Then on Tuesday, ASA Hutchinson dropped out. But still, even with people ending their campaigns, Nikki Haley was the biggest loser on Monday, and she still came out afterward and said this, at one point in this campaign, there were 14 of us running. I was at 2% in the polls. But tonight, Iowa did what Iowa always does so well. The pundits will analyze the results from every angle.

We get that. But when you look at how we're doing in New Hampshire and South Carolina and beyond, I can safely say tonight, Iowa made this Republican primary a two person race. Listen, Nikki, if this is a two person race, you are not in it. You're you. You came in third. So if we're only taking the top two, that's not you, Ron DeSantis, overperformed the polls. Okay, so you're talking about polls for South Carolina and New Hampshire. All right, well, if we already saw from the results in Iowa that the polling was off, why should we assume that the polling's not also off in New Hampshire and South Carolina? Right? I mean that would make sense, but it also, by the way, goes back to what I've been telling people for a long time that the polling is way off. Yeah, I proved that Nikki Haley should have beaten Ron DeSantis by Four Points, and instead she lost to him by two points.

So you can take all your current presidential polling right now and stuff it in a sack, because none of it matters. Ron DeSantis coming in second, overperforming expectations. Nikki Haley coming in third, underperforming expectations is undoubtedly going to affect the polls in those future states. So she can't sit there and rest on her laurels and assume that, oh, okay. I'm still polling ahead there. No, there haven't been polls done since Iowa. Not to mention Nikki, Ted Cruz won Iowa in 2016. How did that work out for Ted? So yeah, anything is on the table at this point, but you being like just you and Trump, no, that's not a thing. Ron DeSantis somehow, some way is apparently still in this, although probably not for much longer, but he may have just as much staying power as you have if y'all are constantly flip flopping between second and third place, but Trump's always in the first place, guess

What? Second and third place don't matter because if Trump pulls out victories in the first three or four states, it's all downhill for there from him. He's gonna win this thing. Nobody remembers who comes in second place in contests like this, Nikki, because second place really is just the first loser. But you didn't even get that. You were third place in Iowa. So stop patting yourself on the back because you really did a lot worse than everybody thought you would.
