Republican Attorney General Sues Starbucks For Becoming “More Female And Less White”

The Republican attorney general for the state of Missouri has filed a lawsuit against Starbucks for refusing to drop their “DEI” programs, but in his announcement of the lawsuit, he may have screwed his case entirely. The AG, Andrew Bailey, complained that the company had become “more female and less white,” which could easily be used by Starbucks to get lawsuit dismissed on the grounds that it was rooted in pure racism, not in policy or legal matters. The Republican Attorney General of the state of Missouri is now suing Starbucks because according to him, they're not white enough. And by the way, that that's not an exaggeration. So this ag, again, Republican by the name of Andrew Bailey from Missouri, is basically trying to sue Starbucks because he only wants his coffee served by white men. Um, which listen, hey, if that's your personal preference, Missouri Ag, Andrew Bailey, that's up to you. If you don't like seeing anything other than white men, everywhere you go, that sounds like something you need to deal with in your personal life. Maybe some realizations that you need to have. It doesn't mean it's illegal. I get it, man, you just wanna see white dudes everywhere, right?

That's fine if that's how you are. But that doesn't mean you get to sue a multinational corporation because you're not seeing enough young white men in there. Here is what he said in his lawsuit. And by the way, the way he wrote this basically guarantees that he is going to lose. Here's what he says. Starbucks commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is mere pretext for its actual commitment to unlawful discrimination. In other words, since 2020 Starbucks workforce has become more female and less white with Starbucks discriminatory patterns, practices, and policies, Missouri's consumers are required to pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services that could be provided for less. Had Starbucks employed the most qualified workers regardless of the race, color, sex, or national origin.

So the only people in the state of Missouri that are competent enough to make you your latte or get you your cup of coffee in a timely manner are white men. That's not a legal argument. Like, that's not even close to being a legal argument. What this is, is a man who either has some, you know, latent tendencies that he has not dealt with personally or a huge racist, like those are your two options man. There's only one reason you only wanna walk around seeing young white dudes everywhere. And it's either because that is what you fancy or because you're a huge racist. So I would like to know Andrew Bailey, which one is it? It's one of the two. It is one of the two. Because DEI does not mean it takes longer for you to get your latte. And by the way, if it takes you a couple extra minutes to even get your coffee, you can't sue over that.

That's not an actionable claim. And you're listing it as like, I'm suing 'cause I had to wait in the the drive through for an extra five minutes. What is wrong with you? There's something wrong with you if this is what you're doing and wasting tax dollars to sue Starbucks because you're not seeing enough young, hot white guys in the drive-through line. But this is the country we live in. Donald Trump has, you know, tried to get rid of DEI, his DOJ, Pam Bondi, the Attorney General is instructing all the departments in the DOJ to go find nine companies that are still doing DEI. So we can prosecute, this is an extension of that, but this is a lawsuit because of the way he phrased it in the complaint. That is going to go absolutely nowhere because you can't turn your own personal grievances and your desire to see more white men into a legal issue that the state has to deal with.
