Floyd's family stood in court to testify about how Floyd's murder impacted their lives. Floyd's younger brother Terrence speaks before the court and says, "Why? What were you thinking? What was going through your head when you had your knee on my brother's neck?" His other brother Philonise says he had to relive George's murder daily and he asked Judge Peter Cahill to give Chauvin the maximum sentence. Prosecutors are aiming for a 30-year sentence while Chauvin’s attorneys want a lesser amount of time.
