In other news, following a Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday, police officers on active pursuit now have limits on when they can enter a home without a warrant, in what is described as a racial equity move. In Oregon, the Portland Police Department is changing its policy on traffic stops to focus on violations that threaten public safety.
