Local business owner Noel says he was relying on delivery services that would charge him 30% commission on each order. This is a huge charge for these small bodegas that are barely able to stay open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Victor Tejada a graphics and software designer, and delivered food during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in order to make a living. Soon Tejada, discovered that Grubhub, Doordash and Uber Eats weren’t meeting the needs for these Black and Brown businesses. Tejada combined his love for food, culture and community in order to create the Delivery Guys App.
