The chief was invited to be interviewed by Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case,” but declined because “this is an active investigation and we need to be respectful to the judicial process,” he said. As an internal investigation is ongoing, Marq Claxton, a retired New York Police Department detective and director of the Black Law Enforcement Alliance, joins Tewolde to discuss.
