Dec 4, 20217:52Now PlayingTwelve jurors and two alternates are set in the manslaughter trial of Kim Potter, the white former Brooklyn Center police officer who killed Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man during a traffic stop.
The jury will hear from both the prosecution and defense when they give their opening statements on Dec. 8.
Potter claims she mistakenly drew her gun instead of her taser when she shot and killed wright. Now, she’s facing first and second-degree manslaughter charges.
