Racial discrimination and sexual harassment are rampant in the military and the military academies.
In the last two years, military academy students and graduates have taken their experiences of bias, discrimination and harassment to Instagram accounts specially designed to give voice to these complaints.
Crystal Ellington, director of communications for the Minority Veterans of America and former special operations Black Hawk helicopter mechanic, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to share her personal story of racial discrimination in the military.
