The Democratic-sponsored bill would require new background requirements for gun transfers between private parties. Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa says the bill is “hostile” to lawful gun owners. “DC Today” host Del Walters is joined by BNC correspondent Bofta Yimam, political commentator Cristina Gonzalez and Democratic strategist Terron Sims to discuss gun control and whether new laws can keep Americans from killing each other.
