Many millennials are saying goodbye to big cities like New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Instead, they are moving to suburban areas. The average Millennial is in their 30s now and many want to find a place to settle down and start a family.

Many of these people want to settle down in areas away from the hustle and bustle of large cities and places that are cheaper. Places like Bellevue, Washington, Boulder, Colorado, and Austin, Texas. These places have a major city but are suburban enough to have a house and a lawn.

In addition, these cities are chosen because they don’t have to pay state income taxes, which saves them a lot of money. Many are moving out of the Northeast because remote work allows them to work anywhere. They’re chasing warm weather in the west and the south.

Are the glory days of New York and LA over? Let us know in the comments below!
