The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is officially Giving Tuesday! All around the globe, Giving Tuesday will be trending from acts of love and generosity for others. The holidays are more than food and presents. It’s about love, thankfulness, and generosity. People all around the world have dedicated a day to spreading love to others. It takes place the Tuesday after the busiest shopping weekend of the year.
It started as an idea back in 2012 that encouraged people to do kind things for others after spending all that money on gifts. Now, it’s been nine years and this has become a global movement of people doing good for a day.
Though the movement encourages people to take part every Tuesday and even every day if possible. The organization behind the movement, Giving Tuesday, encourages people to make someone smile in any way. These acts of kindness could be helping someone out, being there for someone, donating whatever you can to those who need it more, a compliment, or even just a smile. It can be anything really.
What are other acts of kindness that are easy to do? Let us know in the comments below!
