More drugstore shelves are stocked with black hair care products. Black customers have been pressing businesses to broaden their product offerings. Shampoos and conditioners for textured hair have been added to specific sections in the last several years, but the costs have been substantially more than regular hair care products. But as companies start making more of these products, they have been able to create more budget-friendly options.
Textured hair care products are no longer considered high-end. The hair care industry is valued $77.15 billion, and black-owned businesses are gaining influence in the industry.
