The Supreme Court and abortion are two topics that come up frequently. Let's start with the basics: abortion has been legal in the United States since the Supreme Court's Roe v Wade decision in 1973.
Now, we're learning about a leaked document that says the court will overrule that decision. If this happens, each state will be free to make its own abortion decisions.
There will be no more legal abortions anywhere. Abortion is, of course, a contentious issue, which is likely why someone inside the Supreme Court leaked what is supposed to be the majority opinion overturning the case that legalized abortion in the United States nationwide.
And, in case you hadn't noticed, it's election season. As a result, you'll be hearing a lot more about this topic. I hope this has given you a better understanding of the current media and political circus.
