The ordinary American is witnessing their savings disappear as the cost of living continues to rise until 2020. Rent, food, automobiles, excursions, and gas are all pricey because inflation is at a 40-year high.
Our savings accounts are being rapidly depleted for many of us.
In 2022, Americans will only have saved 4.4% of their income. In 2020, the government also gave us a boatload of cash. To be precise, $2.5 trillion.
In addition, many of us saved that money because the personal saving rate at the time was 33%.
Business leaders are now expressing concern that soon Americans would run out of money, spend all of their savings, and begin making cuts to everything, possibly triggering a recession.
