11:49Now PlayingWhat we truly believe isn't found in our doctrinal statement written in ivory towers, it's not found in what we preach, but truly, if you want to know what someone believes, watch how they live, especially when they're afraid. The world has its eyes on the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as it spreads across the globe, and many people right now are full of fear, wondering if this pandemic will reach their doorstep. However, how should Christians respond to the Coronavirus? Do our religious beliefs have anything to do with our reaction to a disease? In this video, I share with you my thoughts on how we as Christians should respond to the Coronavirus, encouraging you to think about three main things:
1) Prayer Instead of Panic
2) Choosing Faith Over Fear
3) Speaking and Living Truth
Through these main points we talk about how we view prayer in times of trouble reveals our true thoughts on prayer and God. We also talk about the fact that we as Christians do not live in fear of death, but rather we have hope in Jesus. Finally, we talk about the importance of shining brightly as a city set on a hill amidst these dark times. I hope this video challenges you and inspires you to grow in your love for God and people.
