After victim succumbed to her severe injuries, she was allegedly cremated forcibly by the State Police without consent of the family. However, the UP Police have denied the allegations.
While briefing on the awful Hathras Gang-Rape Case, Hathras SP Vikrant Vir says, ‘The SIT team has arrived in Janpath and is currently probing the crime. The Aligarh test report suggests that girl was brutally assaulted, but signs of forceful intercourse are not mentioned. We are now waiting for the final Forensic Report to continue the investigation’.
