As the victim’s cousin came out and spoke to the media, the cops immediately came after him and tried to intimidate him. There was no option left for the cousin to run and save himself. The police personnel have been deployed in huge numbers, outside the village, where the media presence is in large number. On being asked certain questions, the police refuse to comment and even deny entry to two individuals, citing section 144.
