Due to a lack of a strong medical infrastructure in the country's rural hinterlands, along with vaccine apprehension, rumours and myths about vaccinations have pushed people in rural areas into a gulf of fear and mistrust. Things began to change when the second wave of Corona caused a huge number of deaths, prompting residents of this community to scramble for the vaccination.
