2:46Now PlayingAn Improvised explosive device (IED) was successfully neutralised in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir today. Visuals surface of controlled bomb blast carried out by the bomb disposal squad. Security forces averted this massive terror attack today in the Chanpora district of Srinagar. The IED was found in a suspicious bag outside the Chanpora police station in the city. The IED was then controlled blasted, surrounded with sandbags near the Srinagar police station where the post and security deployment are present every day. As per visuals, it clearly states that the explosive was intended to cause massive damage to the area and surrounding people, but the brave jawans could locate and take control within time. The BDS department has initiated the controlled blast.
