2:46Now Playing48 people have sustained injuries in the Jallikattu competition held in the Avaniyapuram area of Madurai in Tamil Nadu. More than 400 bulls were allowed in the event. Also, several restrictions are in place. As far as Tamil Nadu guidelines are concerned, only 150 spectators and 300 bull tamers are allowed in the competition. According to the local authorities, 25 of the bull tamers, 15 owners and 8 spectators were injured during the Jallikattu competition.
