3:19Now PlayingLatest from the Haridwar hate speech row, the Uttarakhand DGP has revealed that the special investigation team (STI) has been formed to investigate the hate speech case. Five people so far have been arrested, none of the names of the identified persons were made public by the police. The first arrest in the case was made in the case on Thursday when, Waseem Rizvi, aka Jitendra Narayan Tyagi, was held by Uttarakhand Police for allegedly making inciting remarks and hate speech against a particular community at a Dharam Sansad in Haridwar in December last year. As per the acquisitions, an event was organised in Haridwar by Yati Narsinghanand and the other in Delhi by 'Hindu Yuva Vahini' allegedly "calling for a genocide of members" of the Muslim community.
