A big order from the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) where there has been a ban of meat, mutton, egg and fish selling in Gujarat from 29th July because of Sawan Somwar. The Municipal Corporation has also banned non-veg selling on 1st, 8th, 15th, 19th and 28th of August. From 30th July, the month of Sawan will start in Gujarat. In North India, the month of Sawan begins 15 days in advance. As per the RMC rules, strict actions will be taken against the person who will abide by the order. It seems like after Rajkot, Gujarat’s other district and municipalities such as Ahemdabad, Surat, Vadodara etc. will also implement such rules.
