as posted by the channelThe centre has issued an alert over the ongoing cases of measles. The states that are under the radar are Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Haryana. The centre has stated that there is some concern from the public health point of view and the states should keep themself prepared. In Maharastra, 550 cases have been recorded so far and Mumbai in particular has 233 active cases. The BMC health department has recorded 12 death by measles this year so far. The advisory has been sent to all the mentioned states and the measles outbreak response activity should also be monitored.
