as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis said Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota can no longer be considered the franchise quarterback of the team after his decision not to play on Sunday Night football against the Indianapolis Colts. Clay Travis, on Outkick the Show and on Outkick the Coverage, said Marcus Mariota made a business decision not to play in the Sunday Night Football game against the Indianapolis Colts and because of that he is no longer the quarterback of the future for the Tennessee Titans.
Further on Outkick the Show and earlier on Outkick the Coverage, Clay Travis said if former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair would have been in the same situation as Marcus Mariota, there is no way Steve McNair would have decided not to play in the game.
Marcus Mariota was somehow able to practice on Thursday or Friday but he isn’t able to play in the Sunday Night Football game. He made a business decision not to play in the game. Clay Travis said Steve McNair wouldn't have done that.
Blaine Gabbert played instead of Marcus Mariota and Blaine Gabbert did not play well as expected.
