22:58Now PlayingOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the NCAA college football National Champion Clemson Tigers’ recent visit to the White House and the media firestorm that followed over the fast food purchased by President Trump to feed the team and coaches.
Clay Travis discussed the government shutdown and how it affected the White House and the need to purchase food from outside vendors to feed his honored guests, the Clemson Tigers football team and coaches. Clay Travis mentioned how the “woke media” lost their minds in their reaction to the menu.
Clay Travis expressed his disdain for McDonalds’ Filet-O-Fish sandwich, but other than that, Clay Travis supported the President and his decision to serve fast food to the National Champion Clemson Tigers.
Clay Travis made a wise point by identifying the average age of the number one ranked Clemson Tigers football team and how that demographic tends to think fast food is awesome. And, sure enough, Trevor Lawrence of the Clemson Tigers was quoted as calling the meal “awesome.”
Clay Travis mentioned the Washington Post and their absurd, politically correct coverage of the meal.
Clay Travis said the meal was a “huge win” for the Clemson Tigers and the outrage was emblematic of a much larger problem within our country to feign outrage over everything President Trump does or says. The Clemson Tiger football team cheered when the fast food was unveiled to the team. This, says Clay Travis, would be in sharp contrast to presenting the team with Brussels sprouts, for instance.
Clay Travis said that President Trump didn’t do anything wrong other than including McDonalds’ Filet-O-Fish or include Chick-Fil-A menu items to feed the National Champion Clemson Tigers.
Clay Travis praised President Trump for being a carnivore. Travis was quoted as saying “You can’t have the country run by salad eaters.”
Clay Travis expressed his disapproval of a recent ad campaign by a certain unnamed razor company and their need to identify themselves as politically correct, aka “woke.” Clay Travis was adamant about razor companies and toilet paper companies who decide to inflict their political opinions on consumers. Clay Travis would prefer to shave, or poop, without having to think about which side of the aisle his brand of razor or brand of toilet paper has chosen as their own. Clay Travis would rather shave, or poop, in peace. There is no need, according to Clay Travis, to research the political leanings of his toilet paper brand before he poops. Clay Travis would rather be thinking about how sexy he is, not the absurdity of his products being woke. “Work on your product working, don’t tell me how to live my life!” — Clay Travis
Says Travis, “stay in your lane” and “do your job.” Clay Travis credited New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for the latter quote.
