19:42Now PlayingOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed last night’s episode of Game of Thrones where winter arrived and gave all of us the best episode of the season. Although an outstanding episode, Clay Travis pointed out some of the episode’s shortcoming, including Jamie Lannister and his golden hand somehow not being noticed by the soldiers in Lannister’s army, Euron Greyjoy’s fleet suddenly becoming unable to take down one dragon, Euron appearing on the beach at the exact same time as the Kingslayer, and Arya suddenly changing her vengeful mind moments before finally confronting Cersei. Clay Travis also projected that Arya will kill Dany in next week’s final episode, with Sansa ending up on the Iron Throne and Tyrion, her husband, at her right hand.
Clay Travis then commented on the Toronto Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard and his game-winning shot in last night’s game seven win over the Philadelphia 76ers. This was the only time in NBA history a buzzer-beater happened like it did, said Travis, with the basketball bouncing several times on the rim before ultimately falling through for the win.
Clay Travis went on to comment on the Houston Rockets and their game seven loss against the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry, said Travis, absolutely dominated in the game’s second half. The win, despite the injury of Kevin Durant, was beyond impressive, and featured the Splash Brothers and their superior performance.
Finally, Clay Travis announced that Michigan’s John Beilein is leaving to coach in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is great for Beilein, the Cavs, and leaves a highly coveted job open in the NCAA at Michigan.
