29:19Now PlayingOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the NBA Lottery, with the New Orleans Pelicans winning a chance to draft Duke University’s Zion Williamson. The NY/LA media has expressed this as a let-down, but, according to Travis, New Orleans is a great town for Williamson to enjoy as a young, and rich, individual. Football, and basketball, are star-driven sports. The community really doesn’t matter.
Clay Travis then talked about PGA Tour Champion Brooks Koepka, who is a dominant performer on the tour who is largely flying under-the-radar. His performance today in the PGA Championship was phenomenal.
Clay Travis then mentioned the Trailblazers-Warriors game tonight, playing the second game of the series. Tonight the OVER is the play on 218, I think Damian Lillard will come out gunning, I have Klay Thompson OVER 3.5 made-threes. If Portland loses tonight, said Travis, the series is all but over. I predict the Warriors will win in 5 or less.
Clay Travis then mentioned the Raptors-Bucks game last night, with the Bucks winning in the series opener. The Game 7 hangover was real for Toronto. Clay likes the Bucks big on Friday night and predicts the Bucks will win the series in 6 games or less.
Clay Travis then brought up the controversial call last night in the NHL, with the St. Louis Blues losing to the San Jose Sharks on a hand-pass that was missed by the four officials and is not reviewable according to the current rules.
Clay Travis then commented on Disney’s acquisition of Hulu. Disney has been busy, lining up Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu, while also owning the Marvel and the Star Wars entities. Clay’s prediction is they will bundle these together and ultimately offer them for one dollar less than Netflix. This is a race toward cresting original content. If Disney gets the NFL Sunday Ticket next season, Disney will have something that can compete toe-to-toe with Netflix.
Finally, Clay Travis commented on the commanding lead currently enjoyed by Joe Biden in the 2020 Democratic Primary. A White House poll revealed the only candidate who has a chance to defeat Trump is Biden. Twitter, left-wing party politics does not represent the Democratic Party. It doesn’t reflect what is going on in real life.
