Clay Travis then discussed the Hank Haney story that has taken the media by storm. Haney, said Travis, is being unfairly treated by the public for making innocuous remarks about the LPGA and his prediction that a woman from Korea would win the weekend’s tournament with the last name Lee. Six women have the exact first and last name in the LPGA, and Haney was simply making light of it. The ridiculous “woke media” have taken offense, as they do, and Christine Brennan contributed an article to the USA Today calling for a worldwide ban on all golf courses for his remarks.
Clay Travis also talked about the NBA and their ratings, which have plummeted. While the rest of the media and the Twitterverse is weighing in on how the NBA is competing with the NFL in television ratings, Travis is, once again, speaking the truth.
Clay Travis then weighed in on the new Heavyweight Champion of the World, Anthony Ruiz, and how fat he is. “For the first time in my life, I’m in better shape than the champ,” added Travis.
Clay Travis praised the SEC for now allowing alcohol in the stadiums during football games, making his life as a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers far more tolerable. Each school, said Travis, has the right to decide on the matter.
Clay Travis also gave a brief review of the latest iteration of Aladdin, voicing his disdain for musicals in general. “Musicals are atrocious,” summed up Clay’s review.
Finally, Clay Travis commented on the eight-way tie in the spelling bee over the weekend. The solution, according to Travis, is to add an arm-wrestling, “Over The Top,” tie-breaker at the end.
