Warriors, NBA ratings, WokeCenter, Nashville church shooting, Schwarber Wrigley ban?, The Arnold

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis addressed the current dominance of Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Clay Travis is of the opinion that Curry might be the best point-guard in NBA history to play the modern game that includes the three-pointer.

Clay Travis then talked about his prediction that LeBron James moving to the west coast to play for the Lakers would adversely affect the NBA TV ratings. Not only has this proven to be true, but NBA Commissioner has come out and admitted how their ratings have plummeted and NBA games need to start earlier. The NBA has a player in James and a team in the Warriors, said Travis. The ratings apart from James and the Warriors are dismal.

Clay Travis then mentioned Kyle Schwarber and his “offensive” and “white supremacist” OK sign during the recent Cubs game. Doug Glanville recently wrote an article in the New York Times and The Atlantic to fully develop his perspective as a “victim,” according to Travis.

Clay Travis also talked about the unbreakable Arnold Schwarzenegger, who recently survived an attack in South Africa. The Arnold absorbed a dropkick at a public event while signing autographs, thinking it was nothing more than the crowd pressing in too closely. Arnold embodies #DBAP, said Travis.

Clay Travis then addressed the 2017 church shooting in Nashville and the corresponding trial now taking place in Tennessee. The shooting has been largely ignored by the media, said Travis, because a black man opened fire within a church with intentions “of killing a minimum of ten white churchgoers” in the Nashville area in response to the church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina. A hero then stopped the gunman with a gun, yet that also isn’t covered by the media because it doesn’t fit their left-wing narrative. A similar story occurred at a Waffle House, said Travis, when a black man stopped a crazy white gunman and yetis story has been heavily covered by the media and has (rightly) enjoyed a significant amount of attention on his “heroism tour.”

Finally, Clay Travis mentioned how Jimmy Pitaro, the current president of ESPN, admitted that their viewers “don’t want us to cover politics” in an interview in Sunday’s L.A. Times. Wokecenter, said Travis, is not a good strategy, and is something he has been saying for years. “Get woke, go broke,” added Travis.
