41:28Now PlayingKarl Marx (1818-1883) was a German Philosopher, economist, sociologist, and thinker. He gave numerous ideas and theories. The collective work of Karl Marx is known as Marxism. It has a huge influence on the world and the world leaders. There are various theories under the heading of Marxism. Some of them are as follows.
One of the most important theories of Marxism is that of Historical Materialism. This theory posits that history is a series of class struggles. There used to be opposite classes in every era. These classes fight with each other and as a result, a new class emerges. When this happens, the history moves one step forward. Marx also introduced the concepts of the forces of production and relations of production. The forces of production are the tools that are used to produce things in a particular era. The relations of production are the result of the forces of production. In feudal society, the forces of production consisted of the old tools and methods of production. As a result of this, the relations of production were between the feudal lord and the peasant in the feudal society. In the modern capitalist society, the forces of production have evolved, and as a result of this, the relations of production have also evolved. Now, there is a relationship between a capitalist and a worker.
Marx argues that in a capitalist system, a capitalist does the exploitation of the working class. The whole profit goes to the capitalist. As a result of this, there is a high number of workers in the market. Marx also believes that the concentration of wealth leads to a smaller number of capitalists. This makes worker's conditions more worse.
Finally, Marx argues that the workers of the world will unite and will overthrow the capitalist system. A revolution will overthrow the capitalist and a dictatorship of the proletariat will establish. This communist society will be equal for everyone. In this society, each person will work according to his ability and will get things according to his needs.
