We brought on Professor Nick Marx, Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies at Colorado State University to talk to us about The Bitchuation Room’s conservative competition.
Conservatives these days understand well that the Breitbart maxim of “politics being downstream from culture”, and with that in mind they have made significant gains using viral moments to radicalize bored and online men into white grievance politics. Think Gamergate or even the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial. For many men these days, they weren’t introduced to conservative politics though accidentally catching an episode of Rush Limbaugh on the radio, through these moments of mass outrage and online bullying, usually it’s the bullying of a woman.
