6:47Now PlayingDo you remember the Paycheck Protection Program loans (PPP) from the Trump administration? These loans, almost all of which were completely forgiven to the tune of hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars are back in the news for a funny (not funny ha ha, funny weird) reason.
As millions of Americans saw their student debt slashed by $10-20k, celebrities and Republicans alike are crying about it very publicly. (Also wannabe celebrities and people who believe they’re on the cusp of greatness are whining a lot). Yet there wasn’t a societal outrage when these loans were given and then completely forgiven (!) to the already wealthy, but you can bet that many of those who took the handout are currently whining about how unfair the world is because working people are finally getting a break.
