YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHave you shopped retail in person lately? Did you feel your ears ringing after you left each store? Call us old fashioned, but when you want to buy sneakers, why are DJs blasting us with club jams that make us feel like we paid a $50 cover and a dude named Shawn is going to grind on us from behind. This week the Bitchuation Room was joined by Roy Wood Jr. of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, who broke down just how grating it is to go shopping these days.
It might feel normal for today’s hyperstimulated youths, but if you remember shopping in stores back in the day, this onslaught it feels like a lot. Apparently this is done so that people feel incentivized to buy more, but according to Roy Wood Jr., it makes him want to leave.
Roy Wood Jr. is a comedian, actor, producer, podcaster, and correspondent for The Daily Show. His new film is Confess, Fletch! is out now. Follow Roy on Twitter
