Trump took $7.8 million from foreign countries while President, including “CHIIIINA!” but MAGA voters don’t bat an eye. After winning the Iowa caucus with 51% of the vote, Trump continues to test the theory that Republicans will support him through thick and thin.
The day after the caucus, Trump headed to his defamation trial against the writer E. Jean Carroll. Remember, this trial isn’t to determine whether or not Trump raped Carroll or if he defamed her, those were both proven back in May of this year. Instead, this trial is to determine the damages that Trump will face.
Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee is demanding that Trump pay back the $7.8 million he earned from foreign governments while he was serving as president. Trump has admitted he was “doing services” for governments such as China and Saudi Arabia saying: “I don’t get $8 million for doing nothing… People were staying in these massive hotels, these beautiful hotels,” he continued.
What can’t he get away with?
