Speaking to an all-female town hall last week, Trump answered a question about IVF by … bragging about Senator Katie Britt’s looks. “I got a call from Katie Britt, a young…just a fantastically attractive person from Alabama,” tacking on “she’s a Senator.” Trump, who is deeply unserious about protecting women's rights to choose their reproductive care, only cares about women’s bodies when he can comment on them.
In the recent past, Trump has also had odd things to say about Kamala Harris’s looks. Speaking about a drawing of Harris he said “she looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live. Actually, she looked very much like a great first lady, Melania. She didn’t look like Kamala,” said Trump speaking to Elon Musk during his cursed livestream in August. “But of course, she’s a beautiful woman, so we’ll leave it at that, right?”
Despite promising to be women’s “protector” in September, it’s clear that Trump can’t keep his cool and even preserve his own dignity when it comes to talking about anything regarding women.
