And, of course, Republicans are taking advantage of people’s confusion and curiosity to insert their crazy conspiracy theories and deepstate beef. “I’ll shoot the drones down myself along with every other redblooded freedom loving American,” said Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Truth Social this week, adding the unsubstantiated statement that Democrats will try and make neighbors “shelter in place” over the drone sightings. “There is no way in hell I will comply with that absolute bullshit,” she said. Green, notably, has argued for the existence of Jewish space lasersso we personally wouldn’t trust her expertise here. Another Republican politician even suggested that the drones are part of an Iranian “mothership” off of the East Coast. Talk about crazy! The situation has gotten so out of hand even Donald Trump has commented on the matter, stating simply “something strange is going on.” What do you think the drones are?
