A group of 11 of the dumbest Republican members of Congress sent a threatening letter to the CEO of Yahoo!, saying that the company had better not comply with requests from the January 6th Select Committee. The only problem is that these geniuses sent the letter to a CEO that hasn't been with the company for about 4 years, so their threats may have fallen on deaf ears. A group of 11 of the dumbest Republican lawmakers in the US House of Representatives have sent 13 different letters to companies across the United States, telling them not to comply with any requests from the January 6 select committee. The only problem is that one of the companies they sent it to, you know, there's threatening letter, they accidentally sent it to a CEO that hasn't been with the company for four years. That company happens to be Yahoo and they addressed it to CEO, Marissa Mayer, who left the company in 2017. The current CEO is Guru Gowrappan. And these people, these 11 Republicans who signed onto this letter, which includes people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Mo Brooks, Madison Cawthorn, uh, yeah, they didn't bother to do a quick Google search to find out who the current Yahoo CEO is. I mean, literally, you just type those three letters into the search bar, current Yahoo CEO, it comes up right there. But these idiots couldn't take five seconds to do that, to make sure they were threatening the right human being.

But maybe that's small potatoes, right? I, I'm sure Mr. Guru got his letter, even though it had the wrong name on it. Every one of these Republicans needs to be arrested for this. This was witness tampering. This is obstruction of justice. This is absolutely illegal, according to the letter of the law here in the United States, there is no way around this. Kevin McCarthy as well, even though I don't know that he signed onto this letter, he openly threatened these same telecom companies last week saying, do not comply. If you comply, we're going to punish you. Marjorie Taylor Greene last week, threatened to quote, shut them down, if they comply with these requests for these records. And let's be clear right now, the Democrats on the committee, technically haven't even subpoenaed any records. All they've said is, hey, telecom companies don't erase anything. Make sure you have the records there in case we need them. If I were the Democrats, I would go ahead and issue those subpoenas, make it happen because once those subpoenas are issued, if Republicans stand by their threats, uh, I believe that is the actual point where it becomes illegal, what they're doing.

And I think every single one of them ought to be prosecuted for it. Line them up. Book them. Get mugshots, all of that, because this is very, very clear what their intent is here. Their intent is to prevent evidence in an investigation from coming forward. There, there, there's no way around that, folks. That is exactly what these Republicans are doing and that is 100% Illegal. The companies that these idiots sent letters to included, not just Yahoo, but Amazon, AOL, Apple, AT&T, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Snap, T-Mobile, Twitter, US Cellular Corporation and Verizon. So the question I have is, should they get charged on 13 different counts, one for each company they send a letter to, or do we just want to play it small and just, you know, one count for all 13? I say, we go big, right? Go big or go home.
