We are just one week away now from the much anticipated California recall election and Republicans are already starting to come up with conspiracies about why they're definitely going to lose. Now, right now, it is up in the air. I mean, sure, Democratic governor Gavin Newsom has a double digit lead in the recall and it's not looking like he's going to end up officially being recalled, but, uh, sure. Anything could happen. Let's not go ahead and count our chickens before they hatch. But Republicans are already trying to write off their loss as election fraud. Yesterday, Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren while appearing on a regular Fox program that people actually watch unlike her Fox Nation stuff, uh, made this claim. Yes, Gavin Newsom has raised a whole lot of money from teacher's unions and special interests in tech, but that money is not going to save him.

The only thing that will save Gavin Newsom is voter fraud. So as they say, stay woke, pay attention to the voter fraud going on in California, because it's going to have big consequences, not only for that state, but for upcoming elections. So we haven't even gotten to the election yet and Tomi Lahren is already like, nope, it was voter fraud, voter fraud, voter fraud. I have nothing to back up any of my claims. I have no evidence whatsoever to base these claims on, but I'm going to go ahead and say it because the people who watch Fox news will believe it. And this is how Republicans are going to operate in every single election moving forward in this country. Every time, everyone, doesn't matter. Doesn't matter if it's a blue state like California, they're going to push the narrative that it's always voter fraud when they don't win. That's what's happening now. She's laying the groundwork and for the record, she's not the only one. Donald Trump actually made the same comment yesterday on Newsmax.

So Donald Trump is already saying this. Other Republicans are saying. This is what they're going to do forever now. Anytime they get election results that they do not like, again, even if it's, you know, an overwhelming Democrat majority in that area, they're still going to claim voter fraud. Because what they're trying to do is shake their base's faith in the US electoral process and therefore they can view every single Democrat as illegitimate across the country. Doesn't matter if it's a governor, a Senator or representative, a president, a fricking dog catcher, whoever it is, if they have a D by their name, Republicans are going to claim that the only way they got into office was through massive voter fraud and therefore the person is illegitimate. You don't have to listen to them. You don't have like them. All we have to do is pass these ridiculously suppressive voting laws to make sure it never happens again, folks. But deep down, every single one of them actually knows the truth.

Except of course, I truly believe Tomi Lahren is not bright enough to understand the truth. But the rest of the folks on that Fox news program yesterday did. They chuckled when she said this. They weren't sitting there applauding her and saying, oh yeah, that's definitely. No, no, no. They chuckled because they'll push the same narrative, but they're clever enough to know the truth. There is no widespread voter fraud here in the United States.
