George Santos ADMITTED To Crime He's Being Investigated For In Brazil

Authorities in Brazil have reopened the investigation into Congressman George Santos, and things aren't looking good for the freshman. According to police documents in Brazil, Santos already ADMITTED that he used stolen checks to purchase items in the country, meaning that charging him for fraud and theft should be a piece of cake. Brazilian authorities are planning on contacting the DOJ to figure out how to proceed. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

According to a new report from c n n documents show that in the year 2010, George Santos, the new Republican congressman from the state of New York, who's lied about everything about his past, actually admitted to police in Brazil that yes, he did use a stolen checkbook to buy items at stores in Brazil. He admitted to it. He admitted to the very crime that they want to charge him with. So here is what happened in Brazil, George Santo's mother, and, and this part of the story too, kind of in my opinion, warrants a little more investigation. See, George Santo's mother was a nurse and she was caring for a patient, um, you know, a, a live-in type situation. She went to his home and took care of him there and she for some reason had taken this man's checkbook and had it in her purse. And George Santos went into his mother's purse one day, took the checkbook out, goes to the store, writes the checks, shows his ID with the, uh, the guy's name on it, but his picture. So he falsified documents based on what we know based on this report. Um, and the rest is history right now, the man who his mother was working as a nurse for has since died, but he had also told police that he had canceled that bank account couple years ago because his checks went missing.

So yeah, okay, we've got George Santos told police that's what happened. That's how he did it. He admitted he did it. They're actually in the process of working with the Department of Justice on how to inform Santos that he is being charged. There could be possible extradition, but his mom had a checkbook of the guy she was the caretaker for and he told police like, yeah, I lost the checkbook. I don't know where it went. So I had to cancel the bank account. Sounds to me like George and his mother might need to talk to those police in Brazil, cuz it doesn't sound based on this story. If, it's a big, if, if George Santos is telling the truth, um, if what he's saying is true, then it seems like his mother may have been the one that actually stole the checkbook based on this story. Either way, George Santos has some real big problems coming up. As we've seen this past week. Uh, nobody in Congress wants to talk to him. There's video clips of people walking up not knowing who he is, introducing themselves and then hauling when they learn who

He is. Is this guy's not gonna last? I, I think that's a pretty safe assumption at this point. The Brazilian authorities who now know where he is, which is why they had suspended the investigation, couldn't find him, now they know exactly where to find him. He's in trouble and I don't see a way out for him.
