Drunk Woman Blows OVER TRIPLE the Limit After Striking 2 Medians

Around 5:40 PM on December 16, 2025, Patrolman Michael Palma with the Montville Township Police Department was dispatched to a report of a disabled motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Home Depot at 79 Route 46 E. He arrived on scene and first made contact with 2 Home Depot employees. He then observed severe front-end damages on a white 2024 Audi Q5. The driver of the Audi was identified as Faith Leuzarder.

It would later be determined based on the marks in the snow that the driver was heading eastbound on Route 46 E as she failed to compensate for a natural left turn in the roadway. This caused her to go off road, strike a curb, and go into the grass median. Based on the gap in the tire marks in the snow, it appeared that the vehicle went airborne, crossed over the exit ramp from Bloomfield Avenue to Route 46 E, before eventually coming to a halt in the parking lot of Home Depot.

Faith offered conflicting accounts of where she was and where she was headed, but it seemed like she was going to a hotel in Wayne to meet a friend from Waldwick. As he was speaking with Faith, Patrolman Palma detected the odor of alcohol and observed other indicators of impairment. Faith did not directly answer whether or not she had anything to drink, but she insisted that the open shooter bottles did not belong to her. Based on his suspicion of impairment, Faith was eventually asked to exit the vehicle and perform field sobriety exercises after Patrolman Brian Crownover arrived on scene to assist.

The first exercise was the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. During the HGN test, Patrolman Palma observed the lack of smooth pursuit, distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation, and the onset of nystagmus prior to 45 degrees. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test, but the tests were eventually terminated after Faith refused to cooperate.

Based on the motor vehicle crash, the odor of alcohol, her admission to consuming alcohol earlier that evening, and her unwillingness to complete all the field sobriety exercises, Faith was placed under arrest for DWI. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest yielded open containers of Jack Daniel’s. The vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 12-hour hold according to John’s Law. Patrolman Palma transported Faith to the Montville Township Police Department for further processing.

At the station, the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators was read to her, and she agreed to submit breath samples. Her Alcotest results indicated a BAC level of 0.272%, which was over triple the legal limit of 0.08%. Following the breath test, Faith admitted to consuming 3 Jack Daniel’s Blackberry drinks at a friend’s house in the hours before the crash. After they finished processing Faith, she was released to her mother pending her court appearance after she signed the Potential Liability Warning form on Faith’s behalf.

Patrolman Palma issued Faith the following traffic tickets:

-Operating under the influence (39:4-50)

-Reckless driving (39:4-96)

-Careless driving (39:4-97)

-Traffic on marked lanes (39:4-88)

-Delaying traffic (39:4-56)

-Open container (39:4-51B)

As of March 15, 2026, Faith’s case is still pending before the Montville Township Municipal Court.
