YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWhat would high school be like if students had access to a network of professionals who could connect them with career exploration, internships and mentors? Summit Elevate, part of the Summit Public Schools network in Oakland, Calif., wants to do just that, in hopes of helping every student find his or her own path.
“The predominate high school model in America today, it’s super impersonal,” says Diane Tavenner, founder of Summit Public Schools. The charter school network plans to take their philosophy of real-world education to the next level with Summit Elevate, a high school that will let students learn while focusing on their interests.
