as posted by the channelTwitter CEO Jack Dorsey made an appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast to discuss quite a few things over a two hour period. Standout moments from the conversation were periods of time centered around the issue of censorship and anti-conservative bias on the platform. Rogan asked Jack about the issues and Jack gave very well-crafted, media-friendly answers, but did not truly get to the core of the issue. Since Rogan did not press Dorsey in an aggressive way like he did with Candace Owens over climate change and Steven Crowder over weed, the questions, in essence, went unanswered.
Jack Dorsey basically said that Alex Jones was removed from Twitter due to repeat violations of the terms of service. What is more likely the case in reality is that Alex Jones was removed due to being a financial liability for the website. Advertisers and general investors may not like the behavior and/or image of certain individuals on internet platforms. Therefore, Twitter has to make a decision. Do they stand up to the advertisers and investors for a handful of guys and risk losing the platform altogether, or do they take a small, but noticeable, PR hit from users that retaliate when certain key figures are removed? It seems like the latter was chosen. Joe Rogan may not even be aware of that particular set of behind-the-scenes moving and shaking.
So, if Jack is to return to the Joe Rogan podcast, the aforementioned things should be what the questioning is focused on. If more surface level questions are going to be asked, then it is a total waste of time. Dorsey will simply ballerina pirouette through the questions and avoid them the same way he did before.
