9:54Now PlayingYet another Virginia Democrat - Attorney General Mark Herring (D) - revealed to black lawmakers in an emergency meeting Wednesday morning that he wore blackface at a college party in 1980. This comes on the heels of not only VA Governor Ralph Northam being outed for a racist yearbook picture, but also just a couple of days after an assault allegation was lobbed at VA Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax.
All of this started because of Ralph Northam’s controversial comments in support of late-term and also POST-BIRTH abortion. People apparently began to dig around in his past and his yearbook picture featuring someone in blackface and/or someone in a KKK costume were revealed. Calls from his own party, and Mark Herring himself, came for him to resign immediately. Justin Fairfax would be the person to assume his position. A story immediately came out about him due to the attention. Then the attention shifted to Mark Herring, and that’s when he came out and admitted to wearing blackface at a college party in 1980 to impersonate rapper Kurtis Blow.
From the outside looking in, it looks like Virginia’s state of politics are a complete mess. Two guys with blackface and one guy who has an assault allegation against him from a woman. At this rate, they may as well start looking for janitors in the Governor’s mansion to take over the Governor role. All three of the top guys who are able to perform the duty currently are completely toxic.
