as posted by the channelMississippi could soon be one of the biggest clean energy hubs in America, producing carbon-free hydrogen. Yeah, you heard that right; Mississippi, often seen as the poorest state and dead last in everything.
Or, as they say in Alabama: "Thank God for Mississippi [so we're not the worst]." But now there's a new future for Mississippi with hydrogen, a very promising fuel as its only byproduct is water and heat.
The problem right now is making hydrogen still involves fossil fuels and lots of emissions. And there are already cars on the road that use hydrogen, like the Toyota Mirai. And automakers would like to see more cars like that one on the road.
But first, states like Mississippi need to work on solving a big problem: making clean hydrogen. This is going to happen through companies like Hy Stor Energy. And if they do things right, the Magnolia State could be ground zero for the clean energy revolution.
