as posted by the channelDeepfakes are already affecting the 2024 election. We've seen fake pictures of Donald Trump being arrested, Hillary Clinton endorsing Ron DeSantis and another fake of Joe Biden berating a transgender person all over the internet.
Deepfakes are a real problem for public figures because AI can use their appearances to replicate their face, voice and mannerisms, but they may come for you too. Deepfake AIs can create excellent knockoffs of the faces and voices of nearly anyone for video.
It's estimated that around half a million will be made just this year. And while political parties will probably avoid deepfakes in their campaigns, millions will still likely be influenced by them during the 2024 campaign.
