YouTube Description
as posted by the channelBoth saffron and turmeric have been used for thousands of years to flavor food, as bright yellow dyes, and as a component of medicinal and spiritual practices. Saffron, from the stigma and styles of crocus flowers, and turmeric, the root-like rhizome of a small plant related to ginger, each contain more than one hundred bioactive compounds. Some of those compounds act as anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory agents, and modulate neurotransmitters. They each have a plausible role in treating mental health conditions including depression, dementia, and ADHD.
