YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOften we find ourselves running ourselves ragged trying to do and be more, but the truth is, nothing we DO defines us. In the long run, it's about what God has already DONE. The key to experiencing true rest is understanding this pivotal idea. We must no longer receive our value from what we do and what we accomplish. Only then will we be able to experience true rest, the kind of rest God desires us to have. In our relationship with God, we don't work harder to earn God's love, we simply love because he first loved us. That is what I call "The Great Reversal" because in most of our relationships we try to do things to earn God's love, but with God he loves us before we do anything. I hope this video helps you experience true peace and rest and in God. Sometimes slowing down is exactly what we need to be reminded of the love and faithfulness of God.
About me:
Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 21 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. When I'm not writing papers or making YouTube videos, I do freelance work as a Wedding Photographer/Videographer and social media consultant. On any given day you can find me with my nose in a book or a guitar in my hands. Want to get to know me more? Follow me and say hi on Instagram at: @austin.suggs
