4:24Now PlayingPappan Singh Gehlot, a mushroom farmer in Delhi, booked flight tickets for 10 of his migrant workers for sending them back to their home state Bihar. All the 10 workers reached Patna today morning. These workers were provided food and accommodation by Gehlot, who had over 25 years of association with these workers. When asked, what prompted him to send the labours on a flight, Gehlot said there was always a danger of accident in bus or truck. "I tried several times for getting a ticket in Shramik Special but the stories of people not getting water in trains, forced me to rethink and I thought why not to send them in flight," he added. Gehlot not just booked the tickets but also got the workers tested for medical certificates from a government hospital, which authorities would have asked for air travel.
