A ground check by Times Network on the public washrooms revealed that most did not even carry a hand wash, which is considered a basic facility especially amid the Coronavirus pandemic. This included public toilets located in prominent places in the capital like the Moti Lal Nehru Marg, Connaught Place, Gol Market, Mandir Marg and Sansad Marg. The toilets where hand wash was found to be was of extremely poor quality and did not meet prevailing safety standards.
