2:18Now PlayingOn Friday morning, a large cache of explosives was seized from Kozhikode railway station here. The Railway Police confiscated 117 gelatin sticks and 350 detonators from under the seat of the Chennai-Mangalore Super Express during a routine inspection.
In connection with the incident, a female passenger, a Chennai native, was taken into custody. According to the police, the woman was on her way from Chennai to Thalassery. The questioning is ongoing to verify if she has any connection with the seizure. The explosives were contained in the train's D1 car. The police are also investigating if the explosives for quarry operations or other anti-social activities have been brought to the state. To know more, watch the full video!
